Position Background


  • The CEO reports to the company’s Board of Directors. The incumbent provides leadership and direction to an extensive and diversified staff of 1400. 
  • Direct reports includes: officers of company, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Executive Vice President of Community Relations, Vice President of Human Resources, and Medical director. 
  • The incumbent will participate as a voting member of the board of each operational organization.
  • The CEO ensures financial and legal integrity, by retaining operational and administrative oversight of all system operations. Fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration between the special need consumers, the community, and the staff. 
  • The CEO will ensure that operational protocols are aligned with strategic objectives of the organization and employees are continually informed and included in those process to maximize individual contributions to the mission.


Responsibilities

  • Ensures program excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, management, fundraising, communications, and operations systems

As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Program Officer will  report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CPO will have primary day-to day  responsibility for planning,  implementing, managing and controlling all strategic and operational  responsibility for all programs.  

As the chief program officer, s/he will provide leadership to the  strategic planning process and will implement new programmatic strategic initiatives. In addition, the CPO will: provide coordination for the senior management team; serve as liaison to the organization’s partners; and work with the Board of Directors to keep them abreast of programmatic strategies and challenges.

Essential Function

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of director-level experience with P&L and/ or budgetary  responsibilities  for a high-technology services company.
  • 8+ years of project management experience, including each of the following:  management of subcontractors, representation of company position in negotiations;  outsourcing & supplier certification programs; proposal activities; and materials  management.
  • 8+ years of experience developing and communicating tactical and/or strategic  initiatives to enhance a division's overall effectiveness within a corporate enterprise
  • 8+ years of experience in talent recruitment and retention

Project Execution

  • Initiate projects with timeline/milestones in Base camp upon receipt of a signed client contract.
  • Coordinate with Creative Lead to build a team for each project by involving contractors on an as needed basis.  Provide  contractors with necessary  direction  and  assets, proposals and contracts.
  • Lead all communication with clients, making sure to communicate extensively regarding milestones, reviews, and deliverables. You or the Creative Lead will represent  contractors (and their work) to the client.
  • Evaluate project completion and ensure the proper delivery of files/assets to clients
  • Maintain client relationships so as to ensure repeat and referral business.



Strategic Planning

  • Define strategic, measurable goals for Leadership Stage India and collaborate with  Director to craft a plan to achieve those goals as a team.
  • Orchestrate the cooperation of team members' individual responsibilities for  maximum effectiveness toward Leadership Stage India's vision and mission.
  • Collaborate with Editorial Lead and Creative Lead to define Leadership Stage India story packages, deliverables and annual content calendar.



Team Leadership + Professional Presence

  • Represent the company vision and values to potential clients and team members /contractors, always looking for ways to grow the team and improve the business.
  • Recruit and interview contractors, contributors and potential staff when the need  arises.
  • Contribute to Leadership Stage India networking events and to internal projects in order to further define and develop Leadership Stage India's core competencies.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Creative Services field
  • Management experience involving staff, contractors, volunteers
